Mt. Evergreen Cemetery (and its neighbor Greenwood) are just south of I-20, west of Pecos. The two cemeteries share a forty-acre plot, of which only about a quarter is used. Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, the smaller of the two, is in the southwest corner of the lot. The cemetery is active and well tended. The entry to this cemetery is on the east side.
