While no track to the trig showed up on the topo map, I went for the usual bushwalking and bushbashing approach, and parked my car just off of Koolonock Trail, about 500m north of the trig point:
Surprising my GPSr (Garmin 750 Rino) and the Garmin mapping gave me a way in, right from where I had parked! [Which must have been the original route that they took the concrete mixer, supplies and Hotine mould in on.]
The 'track' has been overgrown for probably 40 years, but yes, you could work out where it was, but had to fight on through with a machete, through some minor and moderate patches of lantana and other undergrowth and the 'wait-a-while' vines. There was NO view from the concrete pedestal set on a concrete base, placed up on a boulder platform. The plastic post, and the black, perforated semi-circular vanes, and the nameplate were intact - NICE!
SIX Maps NSW shows that the trig point is within the bounds of Bombah Point by about 6m, as NE of there is the boundary for Boolambyte!
