The Monte Vista Fire Station was built in 1936 under the WPA Project. This building served as a fire station until 1972. It is currently occupied by a restaurant/bar.
The restaurant is downstairs and the bar is upstairs and has a nice balcony for outdoor seating. The original brass fireman pole is still in place inside but is roped off for safety purposes
