In 1980 werd de nieuwe algemene begraafplaats aan de Van Teylingenweg, wegens ruimtegebrek op de oudere begraafplaatsen, in gebruik genomen.
leuk detail is dat ikzelf hier nog als 18 jarig jongetje aan heb gewerkt door de dienstplicht heb ik voortijdig dit project moeten verlaten,
