"Next to the side portal there is a 13th century cistern with a capacity of approximately 90 cubic metres. The reuse of shafts from Roman columns has been detected in the complex.
The building follows the characteristics of Andalusian Mudejar churches, especially those from Granada, marked by the use of carpentry roofs . It has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave, side chapels between buttresses, a separate main chapel and a tower at the foot angle.
The main altarpiece, made by Blas Moreno in 1753, is an interesting example of the late Baroque."
