The statue of a buzzard with outstretched wings fluttering in the wind stands in the grounds of the Horník Hotel in a village Tri Studne near Nové Mesto na Morave. Buzzards, which are abundant in the Ždárské vrchy, hunt mainly voles and other small animals. The statue is made of a special concrete and it is painted. The statue was created by Michal Olšiak, born in 1978 in Ždár nad Sázavou, author of many concrete sculptures of various animals, creatures, fairy tale figures which are spreaded on many places at town and villages of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. he statue was inaugurated in September 2013.
