Chenini is a berber village and, in its older part, a troglodyte settlement. It's an atmospheric place and the mosque is its most prominent location, a place of gathering for the community.
It's magical to hear the call for the pray by the sunset next to this beautiful mosque, something that anyone traveling in the region shouldn't miss.
It's an active mosque, usually closed, except for the praying times.
