Galtelandsteinen is a runestone from the 1000s which is located close to a burial ground.
It is mentioned all the way back in 1639 where it was intact. Unfortunately, parts of it were broken and it was brought to the Cultural History Museum (KHM) in Oslo, where it can be seen.
The rune stone that now stands on the site is a copy that was made in 2000 on the occasion of the millennium. It is located at the original site.

The text reads: Arnstein erected this stone in memory of Bjor, his son; he died in the army when Knut attacked England. One is God
