Nach einer Auskunft einer Ladenbesitzerin waren diese Vogelhäuser teil eines Weltrekordversuches der Stadt Magdeburg und sind danach nicht mehr entfernt worden. Die Häuser werden mittlerweile von verschiedenen Vogelarten zum Nisten genutzt, so die Auskunft.
