"Hugh Ervin Widner, 52 of Speed, MO passed away unexpectedly in his home Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
"Hugh Ervin Widner was born April 24, 1961 in Boonville, MO. Hugh was the son of Howard Johnson Widner and Anna Rosa (Bollhoefer) Widner. Hugh graduated from Bunceton High School in 1979 and attended the University of Central Missouri. He worked in the saw mill business and later went to work at Hubert Fiberboard as a maintenance supervisor where he worked for 25 plus years.
"Hugh enjoyed hunting in Missouri and always looked forward to a yearly antelope hunting trip with his family and friends in Wyoming. He loved spending time with his family and friends, camping and barbecuing. He spent many years with his children showing sheep at the Missouri State Fair. He was a former 4-H project leader for sheep, electricity and welding. In recent years, Hugh traveled to Knoxville, Iowa to the Sprint Car Nationals with his brother where he made many friends." ~ Legacy
