L’itinéraire à partir du parking fait environ 4 km aller/retour et évite tous les passages en propriété privée, pour cela suivez bien les WP mis à votre disposition.
Pour la visite, préférez la lampe torche ou frontale plutôt que la lumière du téléphone pas assez puissante.
A l’entrée vous trouverez une porte à barreaux sommairement accrochée, pensez à la refermer au moment de partir. Le « hall » est une cavité´ assez large que la lumière du jour illumine encore et le sol est jonché de pierres.
Après avoir franchi cette première cavité´, on descend une haute « marche », le plafond se relève et on progresse dans une vaste galerie qui s'enfonce dans les ténèbres sur plusieurs mètres.
Dans cette grotte sépulcrale du néolithique Moyen et Final, vous pourrez apprécier stalactites, pilier, draperie et de nombreuses concrétions de toutes formes.
Les hommes y ont laissé´ quelques traces, une occupation préhistorique et romaine. Plus près de nous, elle a servi de refuge aux brigands, à la population de St Julien lors des conflits et aux bêtes sauvages…
Ce curieux boyau souterrain n’est pas très long et va en se rétrécissant, vous ne pourrez pas vous perdre.

The route from the car park is about 4 km round trip and avoids all passages in private property, for this follow the WP made available to you.
For the visit, prefer the flashlight or headlamp rather than the light of the telephone which is not powerful enough.
At the entrance you will find a door with bars summarily hung, remember to close it when you leave. The "hall" is a fairly wide cavity that daylight still illuminates and the floor is strewn with stones.
After crossing this first cavity, you descend a high "step", the ceiling rises and you progress in a vast gallery which sinks into the darkness for several meters.
In this sepulchral cave of the Middle and Final Neolithic, you can appreciate stalactites, pillar, drapery and many concretions of all shapes.
Men have left some traces there, a prehistoric and Roman occupation. Closer to home, it served as a refuge for brigands, the population of St Julien during the conflicts and wild animals...
This curious underground gut is not very long and narrows, you will not be able to get lost.
