EN: Gluringen is a small village in the Goms region of the Upper Valais. This high valley is one of the most famous cross-country skiing regions in Switzerland, but you actually expect less alpine ski resorts here. Nevertheless, there are three small facilities, one of which is located in Gluringen.
The ski area is for beginners and families with small children. It opened in 1960. There is one T-bar lift of about 700 meters and a wide and easy slope.
There is plenty of parking right next to the ski lift station and there are several restaurants across the street.
DE: Gluringen ist ein kleines Dorf in der Region Goms im Oberwallis. Dieses Hochtal ist eines der bekanntesten Langlaufregionen der Schweiz, aber Alpinskigebiete erwartet man hier eigentlich weniger. Trotzdem gibt es drei kleine Anlagen, eine davon befindet sich in Gluringen.
Das Skigebiet ist für Anfänger und Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Es wurde 1960 eröffnet. Es gibt einen Skilift von etwa 700 Metern Länge und eine breite und einfache Piste.
Es hat genügend Parkplätze gleich bei der Skiliftstation und gegenüber der Strasse befinden sich einige Restaurants.
