The Memorial Tree in Doorn (municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug) commemorates the liberation of Doorn on May 7, 1945 by 'The queens own rifles of Canada' and the 'British 49th west riding division the Polarbear'.

A maple was chosen because of the Canadian nationality of the liberators of Doorn.

The tree was temporarily moved during the construction of the new municipal office. In 2013, the tree was given a new place in the vicinity of the war memorial on the Raadhuisplein in Doorn.
Location of the tree: Small park

Type of tree: maple
