The Canberra Deep Space Commuication Complex, also known as Tidbinbilla Space Tracking Station, is one of three complexes used to communicate and track interplanetary missions.
It has supported missions such as Voyager, Mariner, Pioneer, Viking, Mars rovers, Galileo and Cassini. It also assisted with the Apollo missions to the Moon, Skylab and the Space Shuttle.
The visitors centre includes a cafe and is open every day of the year. It is free and home to the largest piece of Moon rock outside of USA.
