The plaque says, "Built by John Gandolfo, this brick landmark served as a 635 seat theater and vaudeville house, a WW II USO canteen and was a center of community activity from 1917 to 1950. The third floor ballroom was destroyed by fire in 1925.
Dedicated December 1999, by the City of Yuma for the preservation of our heritage.
