FR Initialement, toute cette zone était un très grand champ d'amandiers. Plus tard, les amandier ont été arrachés pour y planter de la lavande.
J'ignore depuis combien de temps ce puits est là mais je suppose qu'il date de la période des amandiers, la plus ancienne plantation présente ici.
Dans le champ, c'est une structure ronde, en pierres sans maçonnerie, telle un borie. L'un des côté s'est aujourd'hui effondrée. Aujourd'hui, il ne doit plus beaucoup servir car toute la zone est alimentée par des grandes sources ou des rivières qui permettent d'arroser par aspersion tout le champ.
EN Initially, this whole area was a very large field of almond trees. Later, the almond trees were uprooted to plant lavender.
I don't know how long this well has been there but I guess it dates from the almond tree period, the oldest plantation here.
In the field, it is a round structure, in stones without masonry, like a borie. One side has now collapsed. Today, it must no longer be used much because the whole area is fed by large springs or rivers which make it possible to sprinkle the whole field.
