"The shield of Orense appears in a field of silver, on waves of azure and silver that represent a flow of water, a bridge with five golden arches , joined in its right hand by a castle of gold, crenellated, mazoned with saber and clarified with Gules and on his left, a rampant lion , armed with a fingernail and gold tongue that raises a sword of the same metal in his right hand, and in the center of the head of the shield a royal crownclosed. The shield is stamped with another royal crown, lined with gules, or red, closed, which is a gold circle, set with precious stones, composed of eight acanthus leaf rosettes , five visible, interpolated with pearls and each one of Its leaves come out five diadems added to pearls that converge in an azure world, with the semimeridian and the equator of gold, added of a gold cross."
