As America loves her liberty, so
will she honor Her patriots who
risked their lives and spilled
their blood to keep her free.
This memorial is dedicated to Kalamazoo
County disable veterans of all of the
American Wars. June 14, 1985
May the courage and faithfulness of
those whom we honor and memorialize
in these statues become a living
legacy in the hearts of those who
view them, that the worthy hopes for
which they suffered may find new
champions. Make us grateful, keep
us free and give us peace.
