This was a Jesuit church, which has two colleges attached. Located in the historical center of Queretaro.

This church was founded by the Jesuits in 1625 and later they added two college which worked in attached buildings. In 1767 the Order of Jesuits was expelled from Mexico and all the complex was shutdown. Nowadays the former colleges facilities are used as the headquarters of the University of Queretaro and the church is back to its function as Catholic temple.
