About the Dutch fishing industry
"The Dutch fish industry is mainly located in places like Urk, IJmuiden and the Den Haag (The Hague)/Scheveningen/Katwijk region for fish processing and trade. The crustacean industry is mainly concentrated around Yerseke (Zeeland province). A number of companies are located in the area of the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol (Amsterdam Airport). Approximately half of the processing takes place on the premises of the company. A quarter takes places at (affiliated) Dutch companies. The remainder of the processing activities are done abroad."

About the location:
This is the harbour of Scheveningen / Den Haag, close to the Schevening tourist area. This is where all the boats return and where the fish are sold (at the visafslag (fish auction)).
