This is the larger and more elaborate of two boardwalks on this trail. The boardwalk is elevated by about 2-3 feet over a low lying picnic area and allows access to the trail itself. It was constructed in 2010 and is used by hikers, bikers and families out for some activity.
The length is 200 feet in three sections, with turns of 30 degrees in each bend.
An active rail line is to the south, but is inaccessible at this spot.

Lower lying grassy area that can flood from time to time. There is a picnic bench in the area by the woods to the east.
