This monument is located in George's Square park in Oakville, Ontario. The monument is dedicated to The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment). It was placed on the 150th anniversary of the regiments creation in 2016.
The marble monument features two stone pillars with the units Battle Honours and a smaller stone at the front with a plaque on it. At the top of the two pillars is the cap badge used by the unit until 2016. On the front of the plaque stone is a boat which is the symbol on the Camp Flag for the Lorne Scots. On the left side of the stone is a wild boar, which is the unit's mascot. The right side features a Lion, a nod to the royal heritage of the unit.
