The construction of Hotel Imperial started in 1896, with the support of the president of the country, Porfirio Diaz, who was was present in its inauguration in 1904.
It included a night club, which became one of the trendiest places for the men of society in Mexico City.
In 1937 was temporarily shutdown as a hotel, becoming an embassy. But it came back and in the 50's it was renovated.
It is located in Paseo de la Reforma, the finest avenue in the capital of Mexico.
Some of the notorious guests of this hotel: Cantinflas", Orson Wells, Sergei Eisenstein.
