The Largs Presbyterian Church was built from 1890-92 to a design by William Kerr of T.G. Abercrombie (Paisley). It was built of Locharbriggs and Corsehill sandstone with a slated roof on the corner of Bath Street and Church Street overlooking the promenade and seafront to the west.

In 1900 the church joined with the Union Free Church to become the Clark Memorial United Free Church, named after John Clark, the owner of Anchor Threadmills in Paisley who had a summer residence in the town. In 1929 it was renamed the Clark Memorial Church.

The main body of the building is aligned east to west with a gabled nave in seven bays with a north transept. A hall and large tower and steeple is linked to the south-east. The west gable faces Bath Street and the Firth of Clyde, and features heavily stepped corner buttresses with statues of Moses and St John under canopies. A very large pointed arch window with a centre pointed cinquefoil dominates the gable.

At the western end of the north side of the nave is a two level entrance porch. The north transept is gabled. The east (chancel) gable has a large pointed arch window.

The hall extends southwards to the tall slender tower on the south-east corner overlooking Church Street. Tall lancet windows higher up expose the bell mechanism, and above rises an octagonal spire. On the north side of the tower is an octagonal front sided chapel.

The south wall has four windows between buttresses. At the western end is another entrance. Across the aptly named Church Street at this side is St John's Church, also a Church of Scotland building.

There are services every Sunday at 10.00am, and a midweek service on Thursdays at 10.30am.
