Op Bolk in Rijkevorsel eert een monument de zevenkoppige bemanning van Halifax II JD363 van 429 Squadron. Tijdens de nacht van 22 op 23 oktober 1943 stuurde Bomber Command 569 bommenwerpers naar Kassel, 43 toestellen werden neergehaald. Drie bommenwerpers zijn toen neergestort in de Kempen (Zundert, Retie en Rijkevorsel).
Bij de crash in Rijkevorsel kwamen alle bemanningsleden om het leven: F/S G.W. Howard RCAF, Sgt A.H. Denton, F/O A.E. Beyak RCAF, P/O A. Chorneyko RCAF, Sgt G.C. King, Sgt C.C. Smith RCAF, Sgt R.M. Fournier RCAF. De omgekomen bemanningsleden kregen een laatste rustplaats op het Schoonselhof.
Het monument staat bij een kapel nabij de crashsite.
