This former Railroad bridge is located in Hanover, Ontario on the Hanover Community Trail.

The bridge served on the rail line of what was once the Stratford & Huron Railway built around 1855. Which later became the Port Dover, Stratford and Lake Huron Railway in 1876, and then even later joining into the Grand Trunk Railway system around 1893. The Grand Trunk Railway eventually became the CNR in 1920. CNR ran the line until 1980.

The bridge is a Girder style with one river support. The bridge has two different span styles on each side of the river support. Possibly to help contain noise as the train approached town.
Bridge Type: Girder

Bridge Usage: Pedestrian

Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
