There are three limestone rock pillars supporting the metal double arches. The wood fence is not attached to the rock pillars. One arch says "The Confederate" and the other say "Reunion Grounds".
There are two sets of these double arches - one for the park entrance and one for the exit. Between the two is a Texas Historical Marker that gives information about the park.
