The post office in Trelleborg was built in 1913.
The building was designed by the architects Ewe & Melin. In 1985, the house was expanded and the architect was Gösta Edberg, Stockholm.
Trelleborg Post Office was a large post office. 90% of all mail abroad was collected and sorted here and then transported by ship to Sassnitz.
It was used as a postoffice until 2007.
Today, the buildings function as a tourist office.
