Lake Mien is originally a 120 million old meteor crater. The original crater was about 9 km in diameter but erosion has made the crater smaller and it now has a diameter of about 5 km. The lake is 42 meters deep
In the middle of the crater, an island was created by the impact.
Along the lake shore it is possible to find Mien Impactites.
There is a nice view over the lake, where you can both swim and fish.
