In 1793, a white pine was planted in the park. At the time, it was a tree of a few years old.
On January 18, 2007, the tree fell during a storm.
The growth rings of the tree can be seen through the display. Dates have been added.
Next to the display is a sign with a timeline of the 220 years that the tree has been in the park.
