This unique "Swift Tower" is designed specifically to attract and house the Chimney Swift. There are four separate "chimneys" as the birds will only nest there if there are no other birds present. They incubate the eggs for about eighteen days; at three weeks the hatchlings will leave the nest and climb the chimney walls; at four weeks they are flying freely. The tower is decorated with outlines of the Chimney Swift, and the kiosk at the bottom offers information about these birds. Take a seat nearby for a unique opportunity to observe these birds.
