The memorial commemorates the men and women of Hudson County who fought in the Korean War. The names of the veterans and, in some cases, personal messages from relatives are engraved on the floor around the monument.

In front of the metallic memorial, which testifies to two soldiers in the Korean War, there is a round floor plate. This shows the country of Korea, the most important cities and the period of the Korean War.

The memorial was erected in December 2002.
