Wooden pulpit in St Michael's church, Farway. Late Victorian 6-sided pulpit with 'wineglass' stand. The panels are carved in relief with a stem of roses with a 'sash' wrapped around it. The cross decorations appear to be Templar or masonic in shape.

"St Michael and All Angels was built in the Norman period, then enlarged in the 14th century, with a west tower added in the 15th century. A north aisle was added in 1628, then the entire church was rebuilt in 1877. The first record of a rector comes from 1340 but there was a church here for several centuries before then."

The pulpit probably dates from the time of the church rebuild in 1877.
