A floral twosome tucked down a bright alleyway, these boarded doorways belong to a building on the west side of Main Street in Franklin, Massachusetts. Situated on the south side and side-by-side ten feet apart, the former apertures of standard exterior door size are now closed, covered, and surrounded by bricks.
An artist going by "A. George" signed the "doorals" which fill the frames. To the west, a scene with steps (both in and out of the painting) flanked by overflowing flowers, finishes with a small park bench and greenery at the upper background. To the east, a close-up trompe l'oeil portrayal of pink, white, cream, and red blooms permeate an arched trellis.
