The spooky haunts and houses around Bartlesville come alive for your festive and frightening entertainment throughout the rest of October.

Bartians will see the city’s most iconic structure transformed into a “Haunted Hotel” from the basement to the rafters. Halloween revelers are invited to take in all “the guts” and glory of Price Tower and meet the guests who checked in, but never checked out. It all takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. the weekends of Oct. 22-23 and Oct. 29-31.

Price Tower’s new executive director Tiffany Wade said that the new Haunted Hotel demonstrates her team’s desire to create events and programs that bring fun, Tower-centered activities to the community.

“Price Tower is such a magical place, and we want people of all ages to feel welcome here,” Wade said. “The more the community comes together to support the arts and local events happening here, the more we can build our events to be bigger and better each time.”

The Haunted Hotel is presented in three parts:

Fun House – The Fun House on the second floor is for all ages that invites visitors to immerse themselves in wacky colors and artistic spaces, while mingling with the odd and surreal. Cost is $5.

Basement Haunt — Ages 13 and up will enter the dark, creepy pit of Price Tower’s infamous basement to be transported to the underworld of creepy crawling things below. Haunt visitors will be placed in groups of up to six people. Cost is $15.

Haunted Hotel — The Haunted Hotel will take guests ages 13 and older in groups of two to three on an upstairs journey to meet Price Tower’s most notorious ghosts and demented staff. Elevator stops will feature characters like the deranged artist, the collecting innkeepers and the guests who never left, to name a few. Cost is $15.

A tower pass can be purchased for $30 for all three tours.

Price Tower museum curator Deshane Atkins said that the inspiration of the Haunted Hotel came after the success of downtown Bartlesville’s popular Ghost Walk event and other similar events.

“We realized what a unique experience it would be to host a Haunted Hotel,” Atkins said. “Price Tower is such a unique building and we’re always looking for ways to share it with others.”

Wade said that the three-part Haunted Hotel is a fundraiser for the Tower and proceeds will help fund unique art experiences, live music and educational programs.
