De Brug, zoals het kantoor genoemd wordt, is natuurlijk een prachtig pand. Echt een icoon. Altijd als Unilever in het nieuws is, zie je plaatjes van dat gebouw, terwijl het niet eens het hoofdkantoor is. In het pand op de begane grond onder de glazen opbouw is de margarinefabriek gevestigd. ‘De Brug’ is begin deze eeuw over de bestaande fabriek van Unilever heen gemaakt. De constructie is op het terrein ernaast gebouwd en over de fabriek geschoven. Het ontwerp was van JHK architecten. De Brug bestaat uit vier etages en is 15.000 vierkante meter groot.

De Brug, as the office is called, is of course a beautiful building. Truly an icon. Whenever Unilever is in the news, you see pictures of that building, even though it isn't even the headquarters. The margarine factory is located in the building on the ground floor under the glass structure. At the beginning of this century, 'De Brug' was built over the existing Unilever factory. The construction was built on the adjacent site and slid over the factory. The design was by JHK architects. De Brug consists of four floors and is 15,000 square meters in size.
