Notre expérience
Nos yeux en ont pris plein la vue, ça c’est sûr et certain. Mais mais mais, cela n’a pas été de tout repos : merci Charlotte ! Oui, ma meilleure amie est en forme et adore les excursions. Elle est devenue très aventurière depuis qu’elle a passé un mois en Australie. Je le conçois fortement mais je ne m’attendais pas à descendre (et surtout monter) plus de 500 marches pour aller sur la plage. Oui vous avez bien lu (encore une fois), il faut compter pas moins de 500 marches pour y parvenir. Mais ça, voyez-vous je ne le savais pas sur le moment.
En fait, après avoir visité le petit village de Nonza et après avoir pic niqué au sommet de la colline où il y a la tour génoise, nous devions reprendre la route direction Saint Florent. Sauf qu’au moment de prendre la voiture, j’ai vu un panneau indiquant « Fontaine Sainte-Julie« . La curiosité nous a emporté puisqu’il fallait emprunter des marches entourées de verdure. C’était vraiment charmant. Et c’était surtout intrigant ! D’autant plus, que c’est la chienne (qui nous a suivi tout le long de notre petite ballade au village) qui a commencé à descendre les marches en direction de la fontaine. Comme si elle nous montrait le chemin. Forcément Charlotte l’a suivi et nous étions en route pour la fontaine.
Au bout de 10 minutes nous sommes arrivés. Mais non, nous ne nous sommes pas arrêtés là puisque nous sommes allés à la plage. J’étais en train de prendre des photos de la fontaine quant tout à coup je me suis retrouvée toute seule. Plus de Charlotte, plus de Max. Je me suis mise à crier et j’ai entendu Max qui me disait de prendre le chemin de droite pour descendre jusqu’à la plage. C’est ce que j’ai fait. Mais je n’arrivais jamais à les retrouver. Pourtant je ne marchais pas si lentement que ça… Mais il s’est avéré que la plage était beaucoup plus loin que prévu.
J’ai retrouvé Max, qui était seul. Il m’explique que Charlotte est partie prendre les devants pour nous prévenir si on était presque arrivés ou pas. Auquel cas on aurait fait demi-tour et on n’aurait pas descendu pour rien. Sauf que ça faisait plus de 5 minutes qu’elle était partie mais toujours rien. Moi je commençais un peu à m’inquiéter, mais elle s’est mise à crier. Nous l’avons rejoint et nous avons découvert l’impressionnante et immense plage de Nonza. Ça valait vraiment le coup de descendre. Ce qui m’a impressionné c’est la distance que l’on a fait entre la voiture et la plage. On s’en rendait encore plus compte une fois sur les galets. Vous pouvez le voir sur la photo 9ème et 10ème photo.
Nous avons fait quelques photos et nous sommes repartis car il fallait qu’on rentre car Max avait entrainement et il fallait bien 1h30 de route pour rentrer à la maison. Je vous explique pas dans quel état j’étais pour la montée… Car descendre pour l’aller c’est bien sympa, c’est rapide et c’est excitant, mais le retour c’est tout autre chose ! J’étais bien contente de retrouver la voiture au bout de 20 minutes de marche. Bref, ce fut une sacrée ballade et on s’en souviendra longtemps.
Particularité
La particularité de cette plage, en plus d’être noire et difficilement accessible, est qu’on peut y laisser des messages. Vous ne comprenez pas ? C’est bien normal. Que je vous explique… Grâce aux différents galets, les touristes peuvent faire des dessins sur la plage. Nous avons vu pu aussi voir la Tour Eiffel, « Bonne année » et plusieurs cœurs.

Yes, you read it right (once again), you have to climb no less than 500 steps to get there. But you see, I didn't know that at the time.
In fact, after visiting the small village of Nonza and after having a picnic at the top of the hill where there is the Genoese tower, we had to take the road again in the direction of Saint Florent. Except that when we took the car, I saw a sign indicating "Fontaine Sainte-Julie". Curiosity carried us away as we had to take some steps surrounded by greenery. It was really charming. And it was especially intriguing! All the more so, since it was the dog (who followed us all along our little walk in the village) who started to go down the steps towards the fountain. As if she was showing us the way. Of course Charlotte followed her and we were on our way to the fountain.
After 10 minutes we arrived. But no, we didn't stop there because we went to the beach. I was taking pictures of the fountain when suddenly I found myself all alone. No more Charlotte, no more Max. I started screaming and heard Max telling me to take the right path down to the beach. So I did. But I could never find them. But it turned out that the beach was much further than I expected.
I found Max, who was alone. He explained to me that Charlotte had gone ahead to tell us if we were almost there or not. In which case we would have turned around and we would not have gone down for nothing. Except that it had been more than 5 minutes since she had left but still nothing. I was getting a little worried, but she started to scream. We joined her and we discovered the impressive and huge beach of Nonza. It was really worth the trip down. What impressed me was the distance we made between the car and the beach. We realized it even more once on the pebbles. You can see it on the 9th and 10th photo.
We made some photos and we left because it was necessary that we return because Max had training and it was necessary well 1:30 of road to return at home. I don't explain you in which state I was for the ascent... Because to go down for the outward journey it's very nice, it's fast and it's exciting, but the return it's quite other thing! I was very happy to find the car after 20 minutes of walking. In short, it was a hell of a ride and we will remember it for a long time.
