Heinrich Ruzzo, Prince of Reuss, Count of Plauen, born May 24, 1950 in Lucerne, died October 29, 1999 in Stockholm, was a German prince and landscape architect.

Ruzzo Reuss was the son of Prince Heinrich Enzio Reuss von Plauen (1922-2000) and the Swedish Baroness Louise Peyron and belonged to the former ruling princely family of the German Principality of Reuss (in the branch Reuss-Schleiz-Köstritz [1]). The parents were divorced, and Ruzzo Reuss grew up with his father in Rome but spent the summers with his mother in Skåne. He took the student at Lundsberg in Värmland. During his time at Lundsberg, he was a personal friend of the Crown Prince, the future Carl XVI Gustaf, and the two used to, among other things, go hunting together.

In 1989 the mother died, and Ruzzo Reuss inherited a farm in Glumslöv outside Landskrona. Ruzzo Reuss, who was very interested in golf, was behind three 18-hole courses in Switzerland, the nine-hole course in Lundsberg and had several projects underway.

Ruzzo Reuss was first married in 1974-1986 to Mette Rinde from Norway, with whom he had twin daughters in 1977, and the second time from 1992 to former ABBA member Anni-Frid Lyngstad, who was given the title Princess Anni-Frid Reuss, Countess of Plauen . As a result, Lyngstad became friends with Queen Silvia, and in recent years the royal couple and the prince couple spent the winter together.
He died of cancer.
