In the large esplanade between the railroad track and North Front Street, on the east side of Castro Avenue, is a war memorial "Dedicated To All War Veterans."

The City of LaCoste, TX has a simple non-specific war memorial that reads: "Dedicated to All War Veterans'. This modest memorial is made of gray granite in a long rectangular shape. On the left side of the marker stone is etched an American flag flying on a flag pole. At the top of the midpoint is a recessed area in which a crest of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is mounted. The right side of the stone has the phrase in large letters, painted black for emphasis, which reads "Dedicated To All War Veterans."

The memorial stone is mounted on a thin, flat base of similar gray granite. This lower base is wider and is at ground level. The main marker stone is proportionally sized and is sits atop this base.

Who Put it Here?: An insignia of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is attached to the memorial stone. No specific Post was indicated.

Description of Memorial:
This Veterans Memorial is at the base of a tall flag pole. Both flag pole and Veterans Memorial are in a grassy esplanade between N. Front Street and the railroad tracks. The flag pole and the Veterans Memorial are on the northeast side of the corner formed by Castro Ave. and N. Front Street.
