[FR] Fondettes est une commune du département d'Indre-et-Loire. L'entrée principale de l'Hôtel de Ville est situé Rue Eugène Goüin. Une seconde entrée, d'un extension récente du bâtiment), est Rue Enerst Dupuy.
La partie dans l'angle du bâtiment accueille le commissariat de police de la ville.
Le bâtiment est constitué de pierre de tuffeau blanc de Touraine, typique de la région. La façade Sud de l'Hôtel de Ville est en légère avancée lui donnant la forme d'une tour. Une superbe frise sculptée orne la partie supérieure. La fenêtre centrale du premier étage est surmonté d'une pierre gravée de l'année de construction de la mairie : 1877. Une horloge surmonte cette partie en avancée.
[EN] Fondettes is a town in the department of Indre-et-Loire. The main entrance to the Town Hall is located on Rue Eugène Goüin. A second entrance, from a recent extension of the building, is Rue Enerst Dupuy.
The corner part of the building houses the city police station.
The building is made of white tufa stone from Touraine, typical of the region. The south facade of the Town Hall is slightly protruding giving it the shape of a tower. A superb sculpted frieze adorns the upper part. The central window of the first floor is surmounted by a stone engraved with the year of construction of the town hall: 1877. A clock surmounts this projecting part.
