Since May 2008, they have multiplied in the streets of Château-Gontier. They are the book boxes. The first saw the light of day near the station less than a year ago, in a former telephone booth, on the initiative of the neighborhood association.

Depuis mai 2008, elles se multiplient dans les rues de Château-Gontier. Elles, ce sont les boîtes à livres. La première a vu le jour près de la gare, voilà moins d’un an, dans une ancienne cabine téléphonique, à l’initiative de l’association de quartier.

Le principe est simple : il s’agit de partager des livres entre amoureux de la lecture, petits et grands. Pour cela pas besoin de s’abonner. Il suffit de faire un tour par une des boîtes à livres et de se servir, 24 heures sur 24.

On peut l’emprunter pour la durée voulue, le ramener, en ramener un autre à soi pour le proposer aux autres lecteurs…
