Historical
The setting: A church from the beginning of the 13th century, probably started between 1220 and 1239

The tribune was built around 1810. The access staircase, on the lower south side, hides a golden and blue decoration, replacing an altar dedicated to St John.

The lower north side presents the baptismal font and a fresco depicting a crucifixion behind a window, which unfortunately fades more and more ...
The gallery, located 3.2 m from the ground (height of the nave 10.03m) is supported by four stone pillars. It has a large arrow. The weight of the organ is limited and is not the main cause of sagging.
The painted walnut wood balustrade.
The organ, listed in the supplementary inventory of Historical Monuments, was built by M Antoine Roch Franc in 1865 from elements recovered in St Laurent (as attested by Jean Blanchard in his Histoire de Salon).
Antoine Roch Franc was the first organist, his son Jean-Baptiste Victor - pictured below at the organ of Saint Laurent - succeeded him.
Restored in 1972 by Messrs Bondil and Chrétien, the organ benefited from a more complete restoration by Mr. Unfer in 1980.
The transmission of the games becomes electric and 8 games are added Victor Franc at the organs of St Laurent
A number of pipes have been placed outside the case, probably leading to the instrument being advanced near the balustrade of the tribune.
The painted sideboard was stripped during the restoration.
The paint was presumably in azure blue tones.
Description of the instrument

Specificities:
A rustic sideboard (width: 3m, depth: 2m, side height: 4m),
The fir elements from many origins are little worked.
The wind is supplied by an electric turbine to two reservoirs.
We do not see a trace of an older system.

Bed bases:
five in number, two for the Grand Organ, two of which an external one for the narrative and one for the pedals
However, it has been practically unplayable since the early 2000s… Currently half of the games are in working order…

Games:
A double black keyboard (56 notes - including two silent - and 37 notes)
A German-style pedal set of 25 notes, for a thousand pipes from a few centimeters to 2.6 m.

L'écrin: Une église du début du XIIIème siècle, probablement commencée entre 1220 et 1239

La tribune est construite vers 1810. L'escalier d'accès, sur le bas côté sud, masque un décor doré et bleu, remplaçant un autel dédié à St Jean.

Le bas côté nord présente derrière une vitrine les fonds baptismaux et une fresque représentant une crucifixion qui malheureusement s'efface de plus en plus…
La tribune, située à 3.2 m du sol (hauteur de la nef 10.03m) est supportée par quatre piliers de pierre. Elle présente une flèche importante. Le poids de l'orgue est limité et n'est pas la cause principale de l'affaissement.
La balustrade en bois de noyer peint.
L'orgue inscrit à l'inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques, a été construit M Antoine Roch Franc en 1865 à partir d'éléments récupérés à St Laurent(comme l'atteste Jean Blanchard dans son Histoire de Salon).
Antoine Roch Franc fût le premier organiste, son fils Jean-Baptiste Victor - en photo ci-dessous aux orgues de Saint Laurent - lui succéda.

Un certain nombre de tuyaux ont été placés en dehors du buffet, menant probablement à avancer l'instrument près de la balustrade de la tribune.
Le buffet peint a été décapé pendant la restauration.
La peinture était vraisemblablement dans les tons bleu azur.
Description de l'instrument

Spécificités:
Un buffet rustique (largeur: 3m, profondeur: 2m, hauteur latérale: 4m),
Les éléments en sapin provenant de nombreuses origines sont peu travaillé.
Le vent est fourni par turbine électrique vers deux réservoirs.
On ne voit pas de trace de système plus ancien.

Sommiers:
au nombre de cinq, deux pour le Grand Orgue, deux dont un externe pour le récit et un pour le pédalier
Toutefois il est pratiquement injouable depuis le début des années 2000… Actuellement la moitié des jeux est en état de fonctionnement…

Jeux:
Un double clavier noir (56 notes – dont deux muettes – et 37 notes)
Un pédalier à l'allemande de 25 notes, pour un millier de tuyaux de quelques centimètres à 2.6 m.
