Cet immeuble Art déco est construit en 1930 pour les courtiers Henri Geoffrion et Horace Pérodeau. Sa conception a été confiée à l’architecte Henri S. Labelle. À l’origine, la firme de courtage Geoffrion & Cie occupe le rez-de-chaussée en entier, tandis que les étages supérieurs logent des sociétés oeuvrant dans le même domaine. Geoffrion et Pérodeau vendent l’immeuble dès 1934, en pleine crise économique. En 1945, il est acheté par une autre firme de courtage, la L. G. Beaubien & Cie. Cette dernière occupe tout l’édifice jusqu’au début des années 1960, puis s’en départit en 1973. L’immeuble est ensuite occupé par des bureaux de professionnels.

This Art Deco building was built in 1930 for the brokers Henri Geoffrion and Horace Pérodeau. Its design was entrusted to the architect Henri S. Labelle. Originally, the brokerage firm Geoffrion & Cie occupied the entire ground floor, while the upper floors housed companies working in the same field. Geoffrion and Pérodeau sold the building in 1934, in the midst of the economic crisis. In 1945, it was bought by another brokerage firm, L. G. Beaubien & Cie.
