Saint Agatha - Meadville, PA - This Old Church on Waymarking.com

Saint Agatha Church is located on the corner of South Main and Pine Streets in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The parish was organized in 1849-50 and a wooden church was built. Construction on the new church began in 1869 and the church was consecrated on August 10, 1873. The church was completed in 1874. The stone church has one central tower, with two smaller towers flanking the central one. The church has gone through many changes since it was built, including interior renovations and the addition, and then removal, of a spire on the church's main tower. The church is now a part of Epiphany of the Lord Parish, which includes Saint Agatha, Saint Brigid, and Saint Mary of Grace churches.
