In Plaza de las Mercedes, s / n. Building currently occupied by the C.E.I.P. "AS MERCEDES", and coat of arms of the former Bishop of Ourense D. Pedro Quintano y Quevedo, which is located over the door of entry. Quartered, carries in 1) three smooths; 2) lion; 3) a terraced tree, with an outlined greyhound attached to its trunk and 4 /, a castle surmounted by a cauldron. The three lyses correspond to the QUEVEDO lineage, and the lion, castle and cauldron are figures used in the arms of the QUINTANO or QUINTANA lineage, so the set forms the weapons that he decided to use in his episcopal shield, which later became appointed cardinal. Leather stamped from which the cords hang with the distinctive tassels of the episcopal dignity.
