EN: This orientation table is located in the parking lot next to the top station of the Kalpetran-Embd aerial lift.
The table is about two meters wide and shows a panoramic photo towards the southeast with labeled villages and mountain peaks.
From here, one can see down into the Matter valley and onto the opposite plateau with the well-known vacation resort of Grächen. The world-famous Matterhorn a few kilometers to the south is unfortunately hidden by another mountain, but a secondary peak, the Kleine Matterhorn, is recognizable.
The board was put up by the association "Kulinarischer Ämbdercher". This honorary association strives for the tourist progress in this small mountain village.
DE: Diese Orientierungstafel steht bein Parkplatz neben der Bergstation der Luftseilbahn Kalpetran-Embd.
Die Tafel ist rund zwei Meter breit und zeigt ein Panorama-Foto gegen Südosten mit beschrifteten Dörfern und Bergspitzen.
Man sieht von hier ins Mattertal und auf die gegenüberliegende Hochebene mit dem bekannten Ferienort Grächen. Das weltberühmte Matterhorn ein paar Kilometer im Süden ist leider von einem anderen Berg verdeckt, aber einen Nebengipfel, das Kleine Matterhorn, ist erkennbar.
Die Tafel wurde vom Verein "Kulinarischer Ämbdercher" aufgestellt. Der ehrenamliche Verein bemüht sich um den touristischen Fortschritt in diesem kleinen Bergdorf.
