Tolmer Falls is a single drop water fall that plunges approx 70m into a deep large pool, from the top of the Tabletop Range plateau. The escarpment flanking the falls contains large caves which are used as roosting sites for at least four species of endangered bats and therefore the area from the falls downstream has been declared a protective zone and entry is prohibited
