Johnny Ramone, guitarist for the Ramones, is laid to rest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, at the south side of the pond. His grave and stunning funerary art is watched over by guards since it is such a popular stop for tourists.
Special Effects professional Wayne Toth is the creator of this beautiful bronze art on Johnny's grave. The musician is shown on his knees, leaning back, playing guitar. He is wearing long pants and a jacket over a shirt. He has shoulder-length hair, and long bangs. The sculpture is on top of a 4' square marble block, surrounded by flowers and other landscaping. Four corner pillars support a chain around the grave.
