[FR] La Grande Boire est un ruisseau traversant le bas de la ville de Luynes. Ce ruisseau a la particularité de ne pas avoir de source : il est formé par capillarité, l'eau de La Loire s'infiltrant à travers le sol pour remplir le lit du ruisseau.
Ce pont en pierre enjambe le ruisseau, en parallèle de l'Avenue de l'Europe et face au parc des Varennes. Il est composé de deux arches pour trois piliers. Le parapet est constitué de pierres en calcaire lacustre de Touraine. Le bâti du pont est constitué en pierre meulière. Ce pont permet d'accéder à un champ.
[EN] La Grande Boire is a stream crossing the bottom of the town of Luynes. This stream has the particularity of not having a source: it is formed by capillarity, water from the Loire infiltrating through the ground to fill the bed of the stream.
This stone bridge spans the stream, parallel to Avenue de l'Europe and facing Parc des Varennes. It is composed of two arches for three pillars. The parapet is made of limestone lakeside from Touraine. The frame of the bridge is made of millstone. This bridge provides access to a field.
