Motala is the proud host city for for Vätternrundan which this year starts for the 54th time.
To face the world´s attention and tribute Vätternrundan Motala Municipality decorates the town park with four shrub cyclists. The riders comes from Italy and consist of the bush Ligustrum delavayanum. It has taken 18 years to these shrub cyclists to grow and be designed. (They were purchased for the anniversary in 2015).
